What is the difference between the BID and ASK price?

BID price = the price where you sell, or where you close your buy order. The BID price is the best available price at that time to buy the contract you are trading.

ASK price = the price where you buy, or where you close your sell order. The ASK price is the best available price at that time to sell the contract you are trading.

Please note that when you have a buy order, in order to close this order the system performs the opposite.

Therefore, if you have a buy order, the system will sell to close, and if you have a sell order, the system will buy to close.

The difference between the BID and ASK prices is known as the spread.
