When are Daylight Savings in 2021?

Daylight savings for Europe and the USA occur in October and November 2021, then again at the end of the year in March 2022.

When are Australia Daylight Savings?

Not all of Australia observe Daylight Savings. Australia Daylight Savings are on Sunday 3rd October and the clocks go back one hour in Australia.

The Valutrades Platform (MetaTrader) Server Time stays at GMT+3 and all Australia CFDs open and close one hour earlier in MetaTrader.

When are Europe Daylight Savings?

Europe Daylight Savings are on Sunday 31th October and the clocks go backward by one hour in the UK and Europe. London Time goes from GMT+1 to GMT.

What impact does the European Daylight Savings have on trading schedules?

During the Europe Daylight Savings the Valutrades Platform (MetaTrader) Server Time stays at GMT+3. Most UK and Europe CFDs open and close one hour earlier in MetaTrader.

All other CFDs stay the same within MetaTrader.

When are USA Daylight Savings?

USA Daylight Savings are on Sunday 7th November and the clocks go backward by one hour in the USA. New York time goes from GMT -4 to GMT -5.

What impact does the US Daylight Savings have on trading schedules?

After Friday 5th November all FX, Metals, Metals Futures, Oil CFDs, USA CFDs and Japan CFDs open and close one hour earlier than UK Time (GMT). All UK and Europe CFDs and Futures open and close at the same time in UK Time (GMT).

This means that the Valutrades Platform (MetaTrader) changes; Valutrades Platform (MetaTrader) Server Time changes from GMT+3 to GMT+2.

Due to the Platform Server Time change to GMT+2, the Market Hours for FX, Metals, Metals Futures, Oil CFDs, USA CFDs and Japan CFDs stay the same within MetaTrader.

Due to the Platform Server Time changing to GMT+2, the Market Hours for UK and Europe CFDs and Futures open and close one hour earlier within MetaTrader.
